Recently, I had a conversation with a friend regarding the sometimes
delicate balance of dealing with differences within families.
He is straight and grew up in a very accepting and open-minded family.
A sibling and some other members in the family are gay or lesbian.
A cousin is engaged to be married. The fiance and his family is not
very accepting/ welcoming. The fiance has said the lesbian will not be
invited to the wedding.
There are no easy answers when trying to deal with the dynamics of families. What has been your experience? Suggestions?
I found some websites that may help provide some ideas.
